the words "good artist copy, great artist steal" graffitied onto a bathroom wall

Revise, Revisit, Relaunch,

Hey there.

Long time.

Perhaps I owe you an explanation.

FILTH launched with the mission of providing a space for underrepresented and alternative voices to thrive, and while we’ve nominally fulfilled that goal, the fact is our one-person editorial team couldn’t keep up with the volume of submissions, which means that other, better established sites filled our niche better than we ever could.

So it’s time to make a change.

Our new focus is on reviews, interviews, critical essays, and other literary coverage, strictly for small press books and authors, and with an emphasis on the strange, the outsider, the marginalized voice, and the transgressive.

And more importantly, our one-person editorial team will expand to a crew of editors, designers, and contributors who share a razor-like vision.

We are the House of Filth.

Welcome.
